The purpose of the project is creation of «OsteoGene-M» diagnostic kit which allows carrying out genetic screening quickly and effectively. The purpose of the screening is early revealing of persons from risk groups of osteoporosis and other bone tissue diseases.

Project 2.
Subject: «Development of diagnostic system for confirmation of results of primary serological studies on presence of antibodies to the virus of hepatitis C»

The purpose of the project is creation of serological test intended for routine use in diagnostic laboratories and blood banks with the purpose of revealing of false-positive results of the solid-phase immune-enzyme analysis during primary screening on presence of antibodies to the virus of hepatitis C (VHC). The test represents the diagnostic system based on immune-blotting method with recombinant and synthetic virus antigens.

Subject: «Development of the diagnostic form of food allergens for carrying out the skin application test»

The purpose of the project focuses on development of technology for the reception of the diagnostic form of food allergens for the skin application food test (AFT). The preparation of allergen for skin AFT will represent the cleared fraction of natural food stuffs (cow milk, wheat flour, egg) in the semi-solid form. The fraction will be standardized by activity and intended for drawing on applicator which fastens on the surface of leather during the test by special cameras with sticky layer.

Subject: «Mesenchymal stem cells as a tool of autologous replacement therapy of brain disorders. Development of recommendations on application of mesenchymal stem cells in therapy of ischemic stroke»

One of the purposes of the project is to study an effect of introduction of stem cells in blood channel for different terms after ischemic stroke caused by bandaging the middle-brain artery in rat line «Vistar-Kioto». Thus for an estimation of an effect of introduction of stem cells it was planned to use following basic criteria: histological picture in necrotic zone caused by bandaging an artery; results of behavioral testing of animals. Taking into account the results of preliminary experiments it is possible to approve, that introduction of autologous stem cells on early terms after infringement of blood flow will allow to improve essentially a condition of damaged tissues due to preservation of vascular system, de novo formation of vessels in necrotic zone, restoration of tissues of the damaged organs due to the differentiation of stem cells.

3.Subject of the project: «Application of mesenchymal stem cells at treatment of patients with chronic cardiac insufficiency». The project is carried out together with St.-Petersburg State University.

4.Subject of the project: «Application of mesenchymal stem cells at treatment of diseases of nervous system resistant to drug therapy». The project is carried out together with V.M. Bekhterev St.-Petersburg research psychoneurological institute.

5.Subject of the project: «Application of mesenchymal stem cells at treatment of mental disorders resistant to drug therapy». The project is carried out together with V.M. Bekhterev St.-Petersburg research psychoneurological institute.

6.Subject of the project: «Application of mesenchymal stem cells at treatment and prevention of reaction transplant against the owner». The project is carried out together with acad. I.P. Pavlov St.-Petersburg State Medical University.

7.Subject of the project: «Application of mesenchymal stem cells at treatment of severe periodontitis». The project is carried out together with St.-Petersburg Medical Academy of Post Diploma Education.
